Increase Productivity
The Net-PBX can help you improve your productivity through a number of the built in functions in three main ways
- Reduce Call Costs
- Remote Management
- Increase Availability
Reducing Call Costs
The Net-PBX has been designed so that it can easily integrate into conventional and IP based phone systems. Support is available for the following networks
- Analouge Phone Lines
- Basic Rate Interface (BRI) ISDN lines
- Primary Rate Interface (PRI) ISDN lines
- GSM based mobile networks
- Session Initiated Protocol (SIP)
- Inter-Asterisk eXchange (IAX)
- Skype
By using these interfaces you can reduce (or eliminate) the cost of physical phone lines, connect offices or remote workers over a free IAX link and connect to a low cost service provider using SIP, whilst still having local backup to your existing phone network.
Remote Management
All management functions of the Net-PBX are available through a Web interface (see
Admin Interface for details) allowing for the management of one or more Net-PBXs to be managed by your existing IT staff either locally or centrally. The skill set required to manage the day to day running of the PBX has been reduced through the use of automation and simple to use, intuitive web design.
Increase Availability
The key to ant phone system is allowing calls to be made and received, so when a phone line fails this presents a major problem. Through the flexibility for the call routing features in the Net-PBX you can minimize any service outages by automatically swapping to an alternative route.
